Unknown Manufacturer Wire Rope Self-Locking Fastner
I've Been Unable To Determine Specifically What These Are Called Or What Their Purpose Might Be, But If You Need A Super Heavy-Duty, Self-Locking Fastener These Are It.
They Consist Of A 12" Long Piece Of 3/16" Wire Rope Securely Crimped Into A 'Clamp' On 1 Side. Much As With a Wire Tie, Just Insert The Cable Into The 'Clamp' On The Other Side & A Small Wheel In The Clamp Securely 'Locks' The Wire Rope In Place. [There's A Small Slot On The Bottom Of The 'Clamp' That May Be An Access To A Release Mechanism, But I've Nothing Small Enough To Test This Theory Out.]
